Rainha Elizabeth aprende a usar Skype para falar com família durante quarentena

A Rainha Elizabeth II está em isolamento no Palácio de Windsor deste a última quinta-feira (19), na companhia do marido Philip. Os dois, com 93 e 98 anos de idade, respectivamente, fazem parte do grupo de risco e precisam ficar isolados até o fim da pandemia do coronavírus.

Mesmo assim, a monarca tem usado da tecnologia para se comunicar com a família real britânica. Ao jornal Telegraph, uma fonte de dentro do Palácio de Buckingham informou que a Rainha aprendeu a usar o Skype o FaceTime para manter contato com familiares e amigos.

Além disso, Elizabeth II se prepara para gravar uma mensagem de apoio aos cidadãos britânicos. “A Rainha irá se pronunciar caso a crise do coronavírus se agrave. Será a quarta vez que ela fará um pronunciamento especial em 68 anos de reinado”, revelou o informante.

Na última semana, uma publicação em nome da Rainha foi feita no Instagram oficial da Família Real. A monarca falou sobre importância do isolamento para a segurança da comunidade, e agradeceu o comprometimento de cientistas e de profissionais da saúde e de outros serviços públicos, que seguem trabalhando em meio a pandemia.
